Just Finished St John Camp

I have just returned from my S1 Camp. It was held at St John's Island. The camp was very exciting but I did not like it at first.On the day we had to set out, we took a bus the the Marina South Jetty. Who knew that the bus driver was knew and did not know how to reach there? We were late by 3 hours in the end. This marked a bad start for the camp. After that we took a boat to St John Island. It was raining on the way there which means that the weather would be cooling that day. When we reached there, it was my worst nightmare. The camp was on a steep slope. The camp was very big and we had to sleep in old dormitories and tents. However I was wrong . The beds in the dorms were really comfortable and the tent were build on soft fields. This allowed us to have a good night sleep. We had many activities over the next two days and my favorite one was the campfire. We perform a march and a dance. Who knew, we won first prize.Just as I was starting to like that small island I had to live it, how sad..... I hope I can go back there one of these days and relive those memories again.
